Jose Vazquez is a local artist who has been engaged with GAAH for over 10 years. Whether he's participating as a neighbor, Artist in Residence, or instructor, Jose loves accessing the Cook Arts Center as a space for grounding, creativity, and self care. Jose created this beautiful ceramic relief after watching his daughter dance in the Cook Arts After School program Little Ballerinas. The lines represent the movement of the dancers and evoke the feelings Jose had when he first saw his daughter dancing. This one-of-a-kind piece was generously framed by LaFontsee Galleries. It measures 23x19 inches.
